On the Gorch Fock at the Windjammer Parade 2025

The highlight of every Kiel Week is the windjammer parade. This year, however, it was almost unique: the sailing school ship Gorch Fock led hundreds of boats under full sail in the best wind and sunshine. The "white swan of the Baltic Sea" was not only a perfect motif for the thousands of people on the shores of the fjord, but also for the Kiel marketing team who were on board.

"Operation White Swan" took place back in March 2025: The Gorch Fock was photographed in the Atlantic during a photo shoot under full sail for an iconic image.

The speciality: Together with the Navy and the commander of the Gorch Fock, FKpt. Bornkessel, Kiel-Marketing will publish this picture as a poster for the Ocean Race Europe in Kiel - also in a limited edition, numbered and with the commander's signature.
