One and a half years of preparations for The Ocean Race Europe, six months of Storydeck with over 180 articles about the race, teams, marine conservation and much more, six weeks of excitement from the start in Kiel to the finish in Montenegro: Team Kiel-Marketing is finishing a project that has caused a stir far beyond Kiel's borders.

"Experience that you can only be successful together: we all sail in the same boat" is written in the intro to the Storydeck. We experienced it and lived it – right up to the finish.

Paul Meilhat’s French-flagged IMOCA Biotherm has won the fifth and final stage of The Ocean Race Europe – the 1,600-nautical mile leg from Genova, Italy to Boka Bay in Montenegro – and in doing so has confirmed a spectacular overall win in the five-week, 4,500-nm race around Europe.
