Just like on a ship, we set the highest standards of service and security in our casinos. All our casinos are subject to supervision by the Ministry of the Interior of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. We attach great importance to fairness, professional service and the responsible provision of gaming facilities in order to offer our guests an unforgettable experience. We call this "Winning Moments".
As the official Host City Presenting Partner of the Ocean Race Europe, Casino Schleswig-Holstein shows that gaming and responsibility go hand in hand. In addition to organising the festive pre-opening party, we are actively involved in the "Marine Conservation City of Kiel" initiative and support the GEOMAR development association in order to raise awareness for the protection of the Baltic Sea and provide concrete support.

How the north plays
As the Presenting Partner of The Ocean Race Europe, Casino Schleswig-Holstein emphasises its claim to be more than just a place to gamble: it is a host, a partner of the city and an active supporter of environmental and marine protection on its own doorstep.
Guided by the principle of "responsible gaming", we pursue the goal of enabling our guests to participate in table and slot games in a safe and pleasant environment - always accompanied by a high level of service and hospitality. Our top priority is to minimise the risks inherent in gambling. Accordingly, we provide information about the risks of problematic gambling behaviour and rely on a comprehensive catalogue of preventative measures to promote responsible gambling.
We feel obliged not only to our guests, but also to our employees, to always create a pleasant working atmosphere. For us, a good working atmosphere is the basis for business success and personal satisfaction. We attach great importance to team spirit, a spirit of collegiality, active commitment and support from managers. Many of our employees have therefore been with us for many years, and some have been with us since the company was founded 25 years ago. This is how the north plays - and how the north works.

Pre-opening party on the MS KOI
Society for the Promotion of the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel e.V.
Founded in 1987 at the Institute of Oceanography (IfM) in Kiel, the non-profit association today supports the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel in pursuing its goals. The aim is to help GEOMAR where formal, often budgetary difficulties limit its work and where valuable support can be achieved even with small funds.
How the north wins
We take our social responsibility and our commitment to the North very seriously. During The Ocean Race Europe, we are therefore calling for donations in favour of GEOMAR's sponsoring society, for example as a presenter at the pre-opening party. In this way, we would like to make a contribution to research into and protection of the oceans.
We have also long focussed on sport and support various clubs such as the Baltic Hurricanes, THW Kiel, TSV Altenholz, Holstein Kiel and the women's team of the Düsternbrock tennis club. Our aim is to help the whole of the north to win.
